Lot Description
Two early 20th century 9ct gold bar brooches. The first designed as a rose-cut diamond, within a rope-twist surround, the second designed as an imitation split pearl quatrefoil, to the imitation split pearl and circular-shape blue paste double bar sides. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1900 and Chester, 1907. Lengths 4.4 and 4.2cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the brooches. The split imitation pearls are in good condition, there are significant chips to the blue paste, some settings may need to be secured. The hallmark to the back is clear. There is heavy wear to the gilding. The central diamond is significantly chipped in places, there are areas of discolouration to the detail. The hallmark to the reverse is clear.
