Lot Description
A mid 20th century diamond and emerald pendant. The old-cut diamond collet, suspended within a calibre-cut emerald and old-cut diamond pear-shape surround, to the similarly-cut diamond line and fancy-link back-chain. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.45ct, I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Length of pendant 3.5cms. Length of chain 43cms. Weight 7.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the pendant and chain in keeping with slight wear. The central diamond is drawing a small amount of colour, there is a dark near surface reaching fracture beneath the outer facets. The emeralds are well matched, there are typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye and some areas of surface abrasion. The outer diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
