Lot Description
An early 20th century 18ct gold shell cameo brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the shell cameo carved to depict the side profile of a lady with a lyre, within a partial scroll surround. Length 4.7cms. Weight 8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. Part of the scroll detail has broken off and would need to be repaired. There are areas of significant lead solder to the surround of the brooch, specifically to the back pin and catch. The back pin and catch has been replaced, the pin is metal.
