An early 20th century sapphire and diamond bar brooch. The replacement circular-shape sapphires, within a triple halo surround, to the single-cut diamond tapered sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Length 6.4cms. Weight 6.1gms. With associated case.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Wear to the white metal surface on the pin. Brooch is very slightly twisted along its length. Replacement sapphires, the edges of the collets are uneven. Sapphires fairly well matched. Blue, moderate colour saturation. Fair clarity with typical inclusions. Inclusions are easily noticeable to the unaided eye in two stones, one has a large surface reaching fracture through the centre of the stone, durability may be impaired. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Minor to large scattered inclusions visible under magnification. Diamond generally in good condition with minor abrasion, two with a large nibbles. Clasp in good working order. Small stamp to pin.
