A late 19th century reverse carved intaglio brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the reverse carved intaglio carved to depict a St Bernard, within a rope-twist and spaced sphere surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 7.7gms.

Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. There is significant tarnishing to the back rim. The back pin is metal. The intaglio is in good condition.
