Lot Description
A late 19th century 15ct gold banded agate and split pearl locket. Of oval-shape outline, the front designed as a later added twelve rayed star, set with replacement banded gate cabochons and split pearl accents. Length 5.5cms. Weight 27.7gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Bruising to locket, near hinge. The banded agate and split pearls are replacement stones. The star front has been added to the locket at a later date. The locket has a dull lustre.
