A late 19th century gold moonstone and split pearl brooch. The heart-shape moonstone cabochon and split pearl clusters, to the split pearl bow surmount. Length 2.4cms. Weight 5.6gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. One moonstone is split in two, durability impaired. Glue residue present, it has yellowed. Some possible seed pearl replacements.
