A 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch by William Connell, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numeral markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o’clock, the round case, hallmarked Birmingham 1890 with engine turned design and vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement, split bi-metal compensation balance. Case diameter 50mm. Total weight 86gms.
