A silver key wind open face pocket watch by J. H. Maughan, Gateshead, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numeral markers, subsidiary sunken seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, the circular shaped case with engine turned decoration to rear, hallmarked London 1854, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement and diamond endstone. Case diameter 51mm.
