A 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch by Vertex, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Arabic numeral markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o’clock, the round case, hallmarked Birmingham 1935 with presentation inscription to the cuvette, fitted with a signed fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement, split bi-metal compensation balance. Case diameter 48mm. Total weight 79gms.
