Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 585. The earrings have fixed post and hinged clip fittings for pierced ears. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a well matched, slightly muted purplish red hue, with typical, numerous inclusions. Small surface reaching inclusions. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma. Please be advised that inability of a purchaser to import any such item into the US or elsewhere will not constitute grounds for non-payment or cancellation of the sale.
