An early Victorian 18ct gold diamond and enamel mourning ring. The old-cut diamond, to the black enamel panel and black enamel scrolling foliate engraved shoulders. Estimated diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for London, partially obscured. Personal engraving dated 1846. Weight 2.4gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized removing the date letter. Personal engraving slightly worn. The diamond appears bright with scattered small inclusions. The diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades within the confines of the mount. Significant wear to the enamel to the shoulders, deep scratches to the enamel on the principal panel. Ring size O 1/2.
