An early 20th century 9ct gold opal bar brooch. The heart-shape opal cabochon, within a bead surround, to the bar. Length 3cms. Weight 1.2gms.

Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. The opal has a white body colour, displaying pinks, greens and blues. The opal is not straight within the setting and may need to be secured. The claws are loose. Stamped 9ct. The back pin and catch is secure.
