A late 19th century shell cameo brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the cameo carved depict the side profile of a lady in period dress, within a cannetille surround. Length 2.6cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the surround of the cameo. There are areas of greening and dents in places. The cameo is in good condition. The cameo appears to be off a larger piece, the back brooch fitting added at a later date. There is a loop to the top of the brooch.
