A late 19th century 18ct gold locket, circa 1870. Of oval outline, the foliate engraved front, to the reverse depicting a deer being mauled by a tiger. Length 4.8cms. Weight 16.6gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The reverse has a split approximately 2cms long, with lifting to the edges of the panel. Further stress fractures to the inside of the locket which do not show through to the front.
