Lot Description
A selection of three late 19th to early 20th century gold gem-set brooches. To include an opal, ruby and split pearl dragonfly bar brooch, an emerald and split pearl brooch, together with an embossed bar brooch with ruby and diamond point accent. One with 9ct gold hallmarks for Chester, 1899. Lengths 6.5 to 1.5cms. Total weight 12.1gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Wear to gilt finishes. The dragonfly brooch is slightly bent to the bar. Minor discolouration to split pearls. The circular brooch has small holes to the back with replacement base metal fittings, possibly converted from a clasp or later brooch. Ruby and diamond accent brooch with replacement base metal fittings. Soft solder visible. Estimated total diamond weight 0.005ct. The diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
