Overall condition fair to poor. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Brooch surround is significantly misshapen and there is damage to the bow element. One seed pearl deficient to the bow. Replacement base metal pin. Pin and catch are detachable, screw fittings. Pendant surmount is hinged. Discolouration to the reverse, evidence of repair. Mother-of-pearl in good condition with minor abrasion. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Vary in hue, some wear to the nacre. Seed pearls have fairly good skins with some blemishes. Fairly good lustre. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Due to the nature of the rose-cut it is not possible to calculate an accurate diamond weight. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamonds in fair to good condition, some with minor abrasion, some with nicks and nibbles.
