Lot Description
A natural pearl single-strand necklace. Comprising ninety-eight graduated natural pearls, measuring 6.4 to 3.3mms, to the seed pearl openwork clasp. Accompanied by report number 09024, dated 1st December 2013, from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory, stating that the pearls are natural saltwater. Length 52cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Evidence of repair to the clasp. Pearls creamy colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, to include rings. Fair to fairly good lustre. Pearls differ in shape, hue and lustre. Some of the pearls are unevenly shaped. Graduation is slightly uneven. We would recommend re-stringing of the pearl strand. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Seed pearls creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Fairly good lustre. Clasp stamped 585.
