A mid 20th century gold diamond bar brooch. The old-cut diamond, weighing 0.47ct, within a square-shape setting, to the stepped sides and plain bar. Diamond estimated J-K colour, P1 clarity. Length 5cms. Weight 3.7gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Diamond bright. Assessed within the limits of the mount. Chips to the crown facets near to the girdle, along with minor inclusions. Inclusions visible under magnification. Diamond in fair condition with some abrasion and small chips. Fitting in good working order.
