Lot Description

A late Victorian 15ct gold split pearl and diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond and split pearl star, within an alternating clover and swallow split pearl surround. Diameter 3cms. Weight 7gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 15c. Maker's mark rubbed, possibly HG&S. The diamond appears bright. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. The diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades within the mount. Some split pearls discoloured. Some set at a slight angle. possible replacement split pearls.
