A mid 19th century 15ct gold bloodstone single-stone ring. The oval bloodstone panel, within a collet setting, to the stylised rope-twist surround and band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1864. Weight 8.6gms.

Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of resizing. Some wear to the high points of the gilt surface. Glue to the reverse of the bloodstone.
