Two early 20th century gold gem-set brooches. The first designed as two opal cabochon and seed pearl hearts, to the seed pearl foliate sides, the second designed as a seed pearl swallow, to the seed pearl foliate sides. Lengths 4.6 and 4.3cms. Weight 7gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. One opal is chipped and has been repaired. One seed pearl cracked. Seed pearls creamy-white to grey.
