An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst, within a square-shape openwork split pearl surround, to the scalloped border, may be worn as a pendant. Length 2.7cms. Weight 3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. All fittings are in good working order the pin is a later replacement. The amethyst is a dark to mid purple, with fairly good clarity. There is a chip on the crown. The split pearls are well matched, one is discoloured.
