Lot Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold and platinum diamond, ruby and enamel Scottish regimental badge. The single-cut diamond and diamond point stag, within a ruby coronet, to the circular ruby cabochon eye and black enamel curved antlers. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 2.6cms. Weight 5.3gms.

Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. One diamond deficient. Significant wear to the enamel with chipped areas. Replacement catch, with soft solder. Rubies pinkish-red, moderate colour saturation. Some replacement rubies to the coronet. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.
