Lot Description
An 18ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch by John W. Carter, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, ornately decorated circular case with milled band and vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked London 1928, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 51mm. Total weight 101gms.

Condition Report
- Movement is not currently functioning, balance is not intact.
- Glass is light scratched through general wear.
- Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with some dints to the two o'clock
- Hands are discoloured with some light signs of tarnishing and surface rust.
- Case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age. Some discolouration present.
