Lot Description
A 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch by Vertex, the white dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked Birmingham 1950, presentation engraving to the cuvette, fitted with a signed fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 87gms.

Condition Report
- Movement is currently functioning, oil sinks appear dry. Light scratches to some of the screw heads when viewed under a loupe, one case screw has some small signs of surface rust.
- Glass is lightly scratched through general wear.
- Dial has a light scratch between twelve and one o'clock, there are light chips around the edges
- Hands have signs of tarnishing, particularly to the boss.
- Case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age. Some discolouration to where the pendant attaches to the case.
