Lot Description
A silver key wind open face pocket watch by J.W. Benson, the white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case with rubbed engine turned decoration and vacant cartouche to the rear, hallmarked London 1893, fitted with a signed three quarter movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 51mm.

Condition Report
- Movement is not currently functioning, the balance is not intact and will require attention, movement has marks and tarnishing.
- Dial has cracks, dial also shows marks.
- Both minute and seconds hand are broken, hands also show noticeable rust and marks.
- Glass has yellowed, glass also has marks and scratches and a crack to the edge, glass shows signs of glue to the edges.
- Case has marks, scratches and tarnishing, case also shows noticeable wear to the decoration and the band, hinge to the rear is loose, hinge also shows wear to the corners, bow shows wear, pendent and bow have marks, scratches and tarnishing.
