Lot Description
An 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch by Andrew Millar, the gilt dial with decoration to the centre, hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case with engine turned decoration and vacant cartouche to the rear, hallmarked London possibly 1856, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 48mm. Total weight 97gms.

Condition Report
- Movement is not currently functioning, there appears to be no play in the balance and the balance spring is not flat.
- Glass is scratched through wear, there appears to be some glue or more noticeable damage present to the lower left corner. Glue can be seen to the edges.
- Dial shows signs of tarnishing, with discolouration and scratches visible to the surface and a worn subsidiary seconds track.
- Hands are tarnished with signs of surface rust.
- Case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age. Dents are visible to the middle, pendant bow is loose in some positions and worn to the top. Decoration is rubbed.
