Lot Description
A silver key wind open face centre seconds pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numeral markers, outer track with Arabic divisions, the round case with initials engraved to rear and a personal inscription to dust cover, hallmarked Chester 1897, fitted with an unsigned three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 58mm.

Condition Report
- Movement is currently functioning, movement shows marks, tarnishing and signs of previous intervention.
- Dial shows visible cracks, dial also has had paint applied to the edge of the sunken centre, possibly to hide a chip, chip to the centre also appears to be overpainted, dial has marks.
- Hands have marks and scratches.
- Glass has marks, glass also has a chip to the edge.
- Bezel is loose.
- Case has marks and scratches, case also shows dints and tarnishing, engraving to the rear shows wear, hinges have wear to the corners, name engraved to the inner dust cover, button is a differing colour to the case possibly caused by wear, bow shows wear to the plating.
