Lot Description
A silver key wind open face pocket watch by H. Samuel, the white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary second dial to six o'clock, round case with rubbed engine turned decoration and vacant cartouche to the rear, hallmarked London 1885, fitted with a signed going barrel movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm. Together with a silver curb link chain with silver fob and an associated base metal case protector.

Condition Report
- Movement is currently functioning, balance spring is bunched to one side, there are signs of previous intervention.
- Dial has a crack to the six o'clock position, and some damage between four and five o'clock.
- Hands have some discolouration and tarnishing.
- Glass has marks from wear.
- Case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with wear, there are noticeable dents to the case, case detail is rubbed, the bow is loose and there are previous signs of repair to the pendant.
- Outer case is worn with a signature to the rear.
- Chain is tarnished with some signs of repair.
