Lot Description
A silver key wind open face watch cane top by J. Daykin, Skipton, the white enamel dial with landscape scene to the centre, hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked London 1869, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 51mm.

Condition Report
- key wind movement appears to be functioning but it stops its work when the position of the watch is changed;
- movement is slightly scuffed and shows tiny discolourations in various places;
- dial does not appear to be cracked and the enamel decoration is in a quite pleasant condition;
- hands are tarnished;
- glass is scratched to the whole surface;
- case shows general marks and scratches from previous use,
- case is slightly darkened due to the age of the watch;
