An 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch by McCabe, the gilt dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary sunken seconds dial to six o’clock, the round case with decorated band, hallmarked London 1825, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement, bi-metal compensation balance, jewelled train, diamond end stone. Case diameter 57mm. Total weight 164gms.

- Movement is currently functioning, movement shows marks and scratches
- Dial shows visible marks and scratches
- Hands have marks and tarnishing
- Hour hand appears to be a later replacement and is not matching the minute hand, hour hand shows loss and cracks to the luminous insert.
- Glass has marks and scratches
- Case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, rear show noticeable wear to the decoration
- Hinge to the rear of the case is at fault and the rear can become detached from the body of the case
- Hinges show wear to the corners
- Pendant and bow have marks, scratches and wear
- Pendant has its centre missing resulting in a hole
