Lot Description

A good 19th century Sevres porcelain loving cup. The tapering pail-form body finely painted with two oval reserves each of four cherubs representing Summer and Winter respectively, within decorated gilt borders and white enamel 'jewelling', reserved on a gilt-enriched mazarin blue ground, painted underglaze blue crossed Ls mark with date code for 1873 beneath, 6" across handles/4.25" rim diameter x 4.5" high, (15cm/11cm x 11.5cm).
