A large 19th century painted porcelain vase, the tapering oval puce-ground body painted to one side with a shield shaped view of figures outside a cottage window, the other side with an oval floral panel, the spreading neck with shaped gilt cresting and convex moulded oval floral panels between finely moulded gilt floral handles, raised upon a lobed base, unmarked, 21.5" (54.5cm) high.
