Lot Description
A pair of late Victorian silver mounted candlesticks of Corinthian style, raised on square stepped bases, filled, hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, London 1897, 5.5" (14cm) tall. Together with a modern pair of silver mounted candlesticks of octagonal form, hallmarked Deakin & Francis, Birmingham 1966. (2).

Condition Report
The Victorian candlesticks display significant damage, along with general scratches, marks, wear, dints and tarnishing. Numerous dents and bumps, small holes also visible. The nozzles are fixed in position, one also split. Significant remnants to the interior of the nozzles. No felt or covering to the underside of the bases.There are patches of discolouration and small dents to the edges of the modern candlesticks, specifically there is evidence of wear around the waited section. One candlestick's base and filling/loading has come out. The hallmarks are clear and legible
