A 19th century Chinese canton ivory card case, finely carved in relief in the typical manner with figures, buildings and trees (A/F), together with an oval painted miniature head and shoulder study of an elegant lady (A/F), plus a printed and painted oval portrait miniature upon porcelain panel within a green enamelled easel style oval frame (A/F).

Ivory card case 4.25" x 2.5" (11cm x 6.5cm), damaged with crack and missing section to top. Interior also damaged to  base with split and missing section. Painted oval portrait 3" x 2.5" (7.75cm x 6.5cm), rubbed, paint loss, faded and stained. Porcelain panel,some surface scratches, enamel to frame damaged and missing.
