Lot Description

A 19th century French bronze bust of a lady, Emile Louise Truffot, (1843-1896), entitled 'Pas-Ca!', modelled with stylised gathered wavy hair, draped in robes but bare-shouldered and exposing her left breast, her right hand to her mouth in a coy gesture, a fan in her left hand, signed in the cast 'Truffot 1875', on entitled square socle, 15.75" (40cm) high.

Minor flaking to patination plus areas of 'orange peel' texture here and there. Right arm is cast separately and moves very slightly. Overall probably untouched, good genuine condition but may need a light clean.
