A Japanese Meiji period bronze vase. The tall waisted neck with wavy rim over elephant mask handles, relief-decorated with sparrows, the eight-lobed ovoid body modelled in high relief with birds, on a spreading foot, circular seal mark beneath, 12.25", (31cm) high
