A fine Swiss inlaid rosewood drums-bells-castanets insight cylinder musical box by Nicole Freres, the 13-inch pinned barrel playing on a stamped three part comb (S/D), before a grey-painted drum, a pyramid of six bells, and castanets, with original stamped change/repeat and stop/start slots, the lid underside with original printed card '8 Airs Orchestra' listing the airs over 'S.No. 5084. G.No. 50480. L.No. 395', the case with brass and mother-of-pearl inlaid lozenge within crossbanding, over conforming front and ebonised base between substantial cast scroll carry handles, 28.5" x 15.75" x 13.5" high, (72.cm x 40cm x 34.5cm).

Two teeth missing to comb, minor water stains plus and old split to top. Mechanism would benefit from a clean but plays well. Sciffing to ebonised lid edge and base. Just needs TLC.
