A dated mid 19th century Baccarat spaced millefiori silhouette cane paperweight. The crushed latticino ground with central insect cane, within an inner ring of six canes including monkey, horse and goat (the latter white on a blue ground), the outer band including two cockerels (one in white on blue), elephant, dog, insect and imp, framing signature B and dated 1847, 3" diameter x 2" high, (7.5cm x 5cm), (s/d).

Three superficial impact marks - two appear to be shallow bruises, the third a small flaw. Further minor impacts to widest point. Some small craters beneath.
