A George II oak cased 30-hour brass dial single hand longcase clock.
Plimer Elerdine, circa 1740.
The 10-inch square Roman dial with half hour divisions and quarter hour track, engraved 'Plimer Elerdine', the movement countwheel-striking on a bell, the case with flat moulded hood over ogee-arched long door and truncated base, 75" (191cm) high.

Minor hole above XII. Movement needs a clean. Hood door is detached but present. Trunk door has minor shrinkage plus small moulding losses. The base is truncated - perhaps 4-5" missing (plinth).
