A George II 30-hour brass dial longcase clock, Samuel Roberts, Llanfair, circa 1740, the 10.75-inch square Roman dial with lozenge half hour divisions and inner quarter hour track framing engraved name 'Sam'l Roberts Llanfair', over calendar crescent with chain-driven countwheel striking movement, the latter carved case with flat hood, turned columns and ogee-arched long door on plinth base. 78" (198cm) high.
