A Victorian carved oak wine cooler, the sarcophagus form body with hinged cover, carved with central flowerhead above opposed hippocamps, the body similarly decorated with putti riding hippocamps to the long sides and lion masks to the short sides, on four flowerhead carved feet with concealed castors, 31.5" x 22" x 19.5" high, (80cm x 56cm x 49.5cm).

Lacks liner. Generally quite 'sticky' finish but carving is crisp, no obvious repairs. Minor crack to one side over lion marks. One castor wheel missing.
