A 19th century black lacquered and papier mache snap top table, the shaped top with inlaid abalone and gilded decoration upon a turned column and triform base with conforming gilded decoration, 20" diameter x 29.5" high, (51cm x 75cm), together with a late 19th century black lacquered chair, the crown shaped bar rail back inset with abalone shell details and gilded decoration above a serpentine fronted bergere cane seat on splayed supports united by stretchers.
