A second quarter 19th century mahogany and yew wood sofa table, the top with broad yew crossbanding between ebony and boxwood stringing, between rounded drop flaps with reeded edge, over two frieze drawers and opposing false drawers, on end standards and stretcher raised upon reeded sprayed legs with square brass caps and brass castors, 34.5" closed/54" open x 28.5" x 28.5" (87.5cm/137cm x 72cm x 72cm), together with a 19th century mahogany swing dressing mirror, the plain oval mirror plate between curved uprights, the serpentine fronted crossbanded base with three drawers on ogee bracket feet, 18.5" x 8.5" x 23.5" (47cm x 21.5cm x 59.5cm).

Table- General wear to top, slight warping to moulding beneath frieze drawers, general signs of wear and age. Mirror- Some speckling to mirror plate, backing is detached but present, upper disc terminals missing to supports, axe head loop missing to one screw, base has age cracking and minor water damage, some veneer losses to front, one rear ogee foot missing.
