Lot Description

A good 19th century French porcelain-mounted walnut and kingwood side cabinet. The rectangular top with crossbanding and boxwood line inlay over a Sevres-style porcelain oval floral panel within cast frame flanked by inlaid foliate scrollwork. The door, with quartered figured panel centred by a conforming larger floral panel, enclosing a plush-lined interior with shelf, all between cast terms and inlaid pilaster on a wavy apron with foliate scroll mounts, 35" x 13.5" x 48" high (89cm x 34cm x 122cm).
