A Victorian pair of silver open salts, of circular form with flared lip, lobed lower body and scrolling floral embossing surrounding vacant cartouche, hallmarked Mappin Brothers (William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman), Sheffield 1890. Together with a Victorian silver mounted cut glass scent bottle, hallmarked H Bros, Birmingham 1897, and a pair of plated sugar nips. Weight of salts 2 ozt (62.35 grams). (3).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The salts are heavily tarnished, one cartouche has a small dent in it. The lid of the scent bottle is dented, stiff, hallmarks rubbed, the glass is chipped to some edges would also benefit from cleaning. Some detail on the nips are rubbed.
