Lot Description

A set of three late Victorian silver open salts, each of plain oblong form with frill rim and four ball feet, hallmarked Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton), Birmingham 1897.  Together with a late Victorian silver Fiddle pattern mustard spoon, hallmarked George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1892, a pair of 1930's open salts with blue glass liners, hallmarked Sheffield 1937, and two early twentieth century silver napkin rings with bright cut engraved decoration.  Silver weight 5.51 ozt (171.4 grams).

All the pieces display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with their age and use.  Heavy tarnishing is visible to some and they would all benefit from a clean and polish.  The hallmarks are mainly clear and legible.
