An early twentieth pair of century silver dishes of octofoil form, raised pierced edge and dual ribbon handles. Hallmarked E S Barnsley & Co (Edward Souter Barnsley), Birmingham 1911, registered number 557803. Maximum width including handles 7 inches (18 cm), gross weight 7.98 ozt (248 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Further spots of tarnishing or discolouration visible. The pierced decoration to the corner of each lobe, has split in a number of these areas, some also with pieces of silver missing. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
