A 1920's silver comport, the plain shallow dish with a series of pierced borders to the gallery and raised above a circular footed base with conforming decoration. Hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd, Birmingham 1922. Diameter measuring 8 1/2 inches (22 cm), weight 10 ozt (313 grams).

The lot appears in good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Dent to the foot noticeable over the pierced decoration, with the slats looking bent. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
